Happy SUPERBOWL Sunday!
One of my favorite days of the year.
And even better this year...the Pats are back 😎...LFG!
Today is a day that is meant to be
enjoyed.
To be with family, friends, loved ones and all. To have fun. To enjoy time with them. Enjoy moments. Make moments. Make memories. Enjoy the Pats hopefully winning a 7th Superbowl. And enjoy FOOD.
Food is the main staple of any house in America today. Whether you are making everything yourself, getting help from people coming over or getting it all catered...whatever you're doing, today is about football and food!
And that shouldn't worry you when it comes to health and fitness. No one gained weight from one afternoon of eating food watching the Superbowl. No one gained weight in a day. That doesn't happen. Our body composition changes when we eat in a caloric surplus for many, many days in a row. Many
weeks. Many months. Many years. Not one little day.
So enjoy yourself today. And if you find yourself worrying about food. Worrying if you should eat this or that. Worrying about tomorrow. Then you haven't found something that you can sustain for the long
run. You haven't built a healthy relationship with food. You haven't found what can work for you to get to and keep the body that you desire. We are supposed to have days like this that we enjoy without the "guilt". Thats life. Thats being a normal human being.
So...use this day as a tool - are you in a good space, or not?
My Dad loved Superbowl Sunday. He loved football in general. I'll be thinking of him a lot today - Hopefully he can bring some luck to the Patriots for us😇💙❤️ 🏈.
