Happy Sunday!
Again..people complicate this fitness thing too
much.
There are so many different types of workouts out there.
So many different ways to train, run, lift, yoga, etc. etc.
So what do you do?
You do something that you can consistently sustain for the rest of your life thats going to get you to reach your goals.
And most of the things you should be doing are what 20 year olds can do and what 80 year olds can do...there shouldn't be much difference unless you are going for something extremely specific.
I'm going to give you a workout below that I could have done at 20 years old and that same workout, I can do when I'm 80 years old.
Yes, the intensity will be different between those two ages.
Yes, the amount lifted will be different.
Yes, the goals 'might' be different.
Yes, the rate we recover and build muscle will be different.
But...whats not different at those ages is our ability to try to build strength, try to build muscle and try to keep going each and every day. The drive can and should never go away to always better yourself, no matter the age.
