What a beautiful weekend up here in the NorthEast. Get
outside. Get some sunlight. Get some movement. These days are rare this time of year!
The New Year of 2025 is right around the corner, crazy right?! That means that you have about 2 1/2 months to get a head start on "New Year's
Resolutions". If you didn't hit your goals this year; If you are not happy with your body at this very moment; If you know there are things you can do better; If you honestly just feel like shit💩...start NOW!
Here are 3
SIMPLE things you can start doing RIGHT now to change your body and get a head start on next year:
1.) Get 10k steps per day
- Steps and movement are our best
friend when it comes to fat loss. Get your butt moving. 10K steps a day keeps the doctor away.
2.) Eat body weight in protein
- Eat a sufficient amount of protein for your body; preferably 1g per lb of body weight. You can't build muscle without protein. And you can't build muscle if
you're a 160lb female eating 70g of protein. Or a 200lb male eating 80g of protein...not gonna cut it!
3.) Eat sufficient calories for your body to maintain muscle
- You need to eat...YES even to lose weight. We need to keep our muscle around
if we want to see long term fat loss. Females you should be close to 2000 calories per day. Males you should be over 2300 calories per day. If you are a tiny human being, those numbers will be less.
Don't be in
the same position next year. Don't wait until January to get started. Start now. Start today. Yourself next year will thank you very much at this time🙂.
