Happy FOOTBALL Sunday!
What a great morning. What a great day. The NFL is
BACK. And I'm really excited. When football is back, my Sunday's look a little different. BUT! I ALWAYS manage to keep my morning routine up, even when there is some fun on the horizon. Let's talk about it below.
EVERY single morning I have pretty
much the exact same routine. Now, I don't work on the weekends. My boss is super awesome and gives me the weekend off. Love that guy for that. So M-F looks a litttttttle different than Saturday + Sunday but we don't stray too far.
Monday thru Friday
here's what my morning ALWAYS looks like. And when I say ALWAYS, its legit always the same...
- Wake up at 5am
- **Drink water + electrolytes. We are VERY dehydrated when we wake up. Starting the day with WATER + ELECTROLYTES first is a wayyyyy better option than coffee. Rehydrate yourself FIRST, then have a lil
coffee.
- Prep my meals + snacks with what I'm bringing with me for the day since I usually don't get home until 6-7pm.
- Immediately when I get to my gym I do a lil yoga flow to get my body feeling right for the day and get my mind in a positive direction for the day.
- Drink a lil coffee to give me a lil pep.
- Look over the day and make sure I have a plan for every client I see that day.
- Tell myself its going to be a great day and I'm going to do everything I can to get better that day.
Now, on the weekends I mayyyy sleep a little later than 5am. Not too much though as my body just kinda wakes
up around 6-7am (it's GREAT for your circadian rhythm to be in the same sleep cycle MOST days🙂). Since I don't go to the gym on the weekends, my routine usually looks like this:
- Wake up around 6-7am.
- **Drink water + electrolytes.
- Do a lil yoga flow in my basement to get my body moving.
- Take Wilson for a nice walk since I'm not in the gym. When I'm in my gym during the week, I average around 10-12k steps. On the weekends, I always make it a point to get my steps in so taking Willy on a little walk is great!
- Sunday's are my "office hours" so its when I get a lot of work done - client check ins, workouts for the week, online clients and this, the Sunday newsletter.
- Meal
prep for the week so Julie and I are good to go!
- AND now, FOOTBALL on Sundays🙌🏻.
So...thats what my mornings typically look like. Set a schedule for yourself that makes a positive impact on your life. My life is a routine. It's a big reason why I stay so healthy, why I
look the way I do and why I try to have the most positive outlook on life. Get in a routine...its good for ya😇.
Here's a link to the electrolytes I drink. I SWEAR by them.
