Sunday funday!
Ā
Although with all the rain this morning...not sure it'll be
a "fun day" but at least make it a productive one!
Ā
You can do allllll kinds of fitness related things when it's raining out. I'll hear this from clients all the time..."Oh what a crappy Sunday, it rained all day...I didn't do much". Cool. It's crappy
out. Make it productive inside your house, apartment or wherever you are living. Use this day to get ahead of the week so it can be super productive for you and get you closer to your fitness goals. Some examples are......
- Meal prepping to set yourself up for the week. Use this day to make meals ahead of time to save yourself time and stress this week!
- Do some yoga, stretching or
that mobility work you've been neglecting. Rainy days are good. You can't go outside. So get your mind right with some yoga or do those mobility drills in your basement you've been slacking on.
- Learn a new recipe. Rainy days allow us to have a little more time without worrying about that yard work we need to do or those errands that need to be run. Take some time to learn a new healthy recipe that you can use
in your weekly meal preps.
- Do an at home workout with your spouse or kids or whoever else lives with you. It's crappy out. You need to move. You want others to move in your house. You want to show your kids movement is important. Find a video on youtube that you can all do together....bonding + exercise...what a combo.Ā
- Get some steps. Walk around your house. Clean that
closet you've been dreading. Find a task that you've been neglecting. Just move around your house. You can rack up 10,000 steps by walking around your house and up and down the stairs.Ā
My Sunday's typically look like this...really...this is usually what I do:
- Write the B3 Weekly
Buzz
- Throw some laundry in
- Yoga + mobility routine
- Meal prepping
- Client workouts + check in's
- Take a walk with Wilsonš¶ or use my assault treadmill when raining (he prefers the walk)
- Get ready for the week
That's really what my Sunday looks like 90% of the time. Those are just some ideas you can use as well. Try to be productive on lazy, rainy days. We all need these once in a while. Get some stuff done then relax and take it easy. We need days like this to remind us life is too crazy and people need to slow the ef
down.Ā
