Happy Sunday funday!
Goals.
Everyone has them. Everyone.
I have a goal of Deadlifting 600lbs one day.
Everyone has a reason
they come to me.
Goals are good to have. And important.
Thats one of the first comments out of someones mouth when they contact me..."Nick, I want to loose weight, get stronger, move my body more, walk up stairs easier, etc." Those are goals. Those are something you want to set out and achieve. And you SHOULD have them. Everyone needs goals in life. It gives us purpose. It gives us a reason to get out of bed in the
morning. It gives us a reason to realize how much we can accomplish if we just set our mind to something.
The human body is an amazing thing. Most people have no idea what their body is capable of. Thats where I come in. I'm
amazed everyday at what some of my clients can accomplish with a little help from me. I have clients in their 60's deadlifting over 300lbs. I many women in their 40's, 50's and 60's who can deadlift over 150lbs. I have clients who can bang out 5+ body weight chin ups. Many of my guys can rep out 135lbs on bench press and a lot of my females can hip thrust over 200lbs. I even have a women whose currently
6 months pregnant and just deadlifted 140lbs for 8 reps this past Friday! When I tell you I can get you strong...I just need you to trust me and listen. No matter where you start. When you start. What age you start. It's just about starting.
Like the following videos below. This women came to me with a goal of losing weight. To get in better shape for her 40th Birthday 5 years ago. Not looking to get stronger. Not looking to lift heavy. Not looking to deadlift. And had NO IDEA what a powerlifting meet was, never mind compete in one. That all changed when she set her mind to something, had a little help from me (and others), and realized
she's STRONG AS FUCK and can accomplish any goal if you set out for it. My client of 5+ years and dear friend Jacey competed in her 2ND powerlifting meet this year. Below are her videos of this past weekend. She's 45 years old. A strong WOMEN. A Doctorate professor at Boston University. A Wife. A mom to 3 girls. A hard ass worker.
Don't tell me you're old. Don't tell me you aren't like her. Don't tell me you're not capable. Don't tell me your genetics. Don't tell me any of that BS. Because thats YOU doubting yourself. The human body is amazing. It can do a hell of a lot more than you think it can. We were put on this earth to move our 600 muscles in our
body. To use them to the fullest. Set a goal. Crush it. Be PROUD of yourself.
