When it comes to fitness...you NEED to be
selfish. Let me explain.
Fitness is about YOU. Only you. No one is going to come change your body for you. No one is going to spoon feed you. No one is going to lift the weights for you. No one is going to drink water for you. No one
is going to get steps for you. No one is going to track your food for you. Etc. Get it? Good. Because only YOU can do those things for yourself. Yes, of course, there is help along the way (from people like me) but this is about YOU. I wouldn't be where I am today if I wasn't a little bit selfish...both with my physique and with my business. I'm one of the most selfish people...but, if you ask all of my clients (& friends & family)...I don't think any of
them would say that because of how much MORE I care about all of them.
Which is why you need to be selfish.
- YOU need to set aside time for yourself to workout.
- YOU need to set aside time to weigh out your food.
- YOU need to set aside time to meal prep.
- YOU need to make time to get 10,000 + steps in per day.
- YOU need to track your protein intake.
- YOU need to sign up with a trainer, coach, etc. if thats what will work for you.
- YOU need to make sure you go to bed at a decent hour.
- YOU need to make sure you're getting quality sleep.
- YOU need to destress yourself with things you enjoy.
- YOU need to say no to alcohol when it's doing more harm than good for you.
- YOU need to say no to going out with friends if you can't make good choices.
- YOU NEED TO PUT YOURSELF FIRST IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR
BODY.
See...that list up there...yeah that requires you to be selfish. AND ITS OKAY. Putting yourself first and making yourself better will make everyone around you better. When we all care about ourselves first, we're going to spread that shit out into the universe so more people can do the same. If we all take care of
ourselves, if we all put ourselves first to be the best possible human we can be...then the world will be a much, much better place...I strongly believe that.
Put yourself first. Watch the positive effects that happen. Everyones version of this will
be different. As long as you are being selfish, you'll be in a better spot mentally, physically, emotionally and with everyone else around you.
